The I HEART YOU BAG... maybe an older (2017) pattern but still super cute! And oh so quick to make.
Not only perfect for quilters but also for everyone new to sewing!

Video Tutorial
But of course... see for yourself how easy it to make your very own heart shaped zipper pouch.
Watch the video tutorial right here.
And of course make sure to follow me over on YouTube for more.
Patchwork Heart
In the pattern I show you how to piece a "wholecloth" heart. But of course... you can totally piece your heart as well.
Just grab your fabric scraps and piece them together. No rocket science, my friend. And if you don't know where to start... please watch this video tutorial. I show you exactly how I piece together my patchwork panels (for the Quilted Boxy Pouch but it works exactly the same).
Materials
And this is what you'll need. I promise, it's not a lot.
You probably have everything at home.
Next to the pattern (which you can find in my shop right here), you'll need some fabric scraps, a zipper and maybe some leftover batting to give your quilted bag some structure. And of course... I am using Aurifil 28wt to machine quilt my bag.
Here I am using my fave Betsy, some old school Cotton and Steel and a couple basics.
And that's it, my friend.
It's a super easy project. Great for beginners and kids.
PS. Maybe let your kid draw your heart shape for you - making your bag extra special!!!
I hug your face.
