Teddy Boxy Zipper Pouch
And while I had the Teddy fabric out (check out the mini Teddy bags I made last week), I thought I try to make a mini Happy Happy Teddy. But in tiny.
Which I thought was not possible. Making this zipper bag was maybe a little fiddly (not gonna lie) but not that bad. Totally doable.
And the result. Dang. I think it's stinking cute.

Happy Happy Teddy Sewing Pattern
Ok. This is cute. You have to agree!!
This one is based on the Happy Happy Bag pattern. Inside you find instruction to make the popular boxy pouch in three sizes. And the large one is for the Teddy. Making it super easy to handle the slightly funky material.
Now. I made this one using the measurements for the smallest size. But as my zipper was a bit too short, I had to improvise and make it even smaller.
So. Size is a little freestyle (or hacked) but all the instructions are in the pattern.
And as always. You can watch the free video tutorial over here, if you feel you need a little more help.
Easy + Quick Make Guarantee
Ok. Here's the deal.
I know you might be scared of the zipper. I was for a very long time. So I totally get it. They have a bad rep.
But I promise you - it's so much easier than you might think. And I totally show you how to insert a zipper with ease.
And the best part. Making it even easier. YOU DON'T HAVE TO ADD BINDING on the inside. Keeping your bag super neat. And making it all super quick.
See. This is the inside of my Boxy Bag. No raw edges. No binding to install on the inside.
The construction is designed for the best result. Even for beginners. And everyone new to bag making. I PROMISE - YOU CAN DO IT. And it will me quick, easy and neat.
Materials
Now let's talk about what you'll need. Ok?
Next to the pattern for the Happy Happy Bag you will need a couple things. And I bet you have most of them already. But let's get started.
And here the materials for this mini Teddy version:
- Teddy in beige (there are loads of versions but I looove this one)
- Lining is my favourite print by Heather Ross
- Zipper (I like using this one and switch out the pulls - you can find a video tutorial on me showing this over here)
- Tape on the edges is optional
And that's it, my friend. All the material for the mini Teddy Boxy Pouch.
I will be making more. My very picky daughter approved of this being cute. So you bet I'll be making more for her. Maybe her friends.
Hope you like this one as much as I did making it. And as always - thanks for being here. I couldn't do this without you!
