When Annabel asked me if I would be happy to test her latest collection Penelope for Windham Fabrics earlier this year, of course I had to say yes. I already loved Daisy Chain and Penelope is surely as sweet as her previous line.
Just look at this gorgeous pile of fabric for yourself:
Just the sweetest prints. Right? So what could I make out of it? This time around I decided to sew up some smaller projects and a little baby quilt. But let me show you more.
I wanted to show the pretty small scale prints in Penelope and decided to go for a gingham design. Together the blues work so beautifully. Very Annabel if you'd ask me.
Next I made a set of Glitta Pouches. Still, one of my all time favourite projects. Annabel's prints are beautiful and adding a little sparkle can never be wrong. Right?
As you can see, both were immediately claimed by my son. But who am I to deny him some handmade pouches?
And as it was birthday season in our house, I made my daughter some cute little cake toppers. Such an easy but fun little project. Totally made her cake look like a fun party.
And finally, I had to make a wee braw bag of course. It such a fun and satisfying make, so I had to include at least one.
Thanks so much Annabel for trusting me with your wonderful line. It's definelty as gorgeous as you and I can't wait to see more of your work popping up in fabric shops all over the world. And of course, thanks for being a wonderful friend. L x
